frequently asked questions

we get the same dozen or so questions in our inbox every week. here are the honest answers, grouped by topic. if your question is not here, email [email protected].

the BYON model and OTP handling

do you sell Telegram phone numbers or OTPs?

no. selling or renting numbers for OTP harvesting is illegal in Singapore. you bring your own number, you receive the OTP on your own phone, you type it into our cloud phone. we never see it.

how is BYON actually safer than buying an aged account?

because the number stays under your control. you set the 2FA. you set the cloud password. the seller of an aged account always has the SIM and can SMS-reclaim. with BYON, only you have that power. deeper comparison here.

what if my own phone number is in a banned country?

Telegram allows registration from most countries even when access is locally blocked. the OTP arrives via SMS regardless. once registered, the cloud phone's SG mobile IP handles the connection. there are no published Telegram country bans for registration as of 2026.

can I host an existing Telegram account or only new ones?

both. you log into your existing account by entering your own number on the cloud phone. Telegram sends you the OTP, you type it in, the account is now also active on the cloud phone. no migration needed.

can I keep using Telegram on my own phone?

yes. Telegram supports 4 simultaneous device sessions. the cloud phone is one. your real phone, laptop, and tablet are the others.

bans, recovery, and ban-risk

what if my account gets banned while on telegramvault?

if the ban is caused by infrastructure on our side (noisy IP neighbor or reputation drop), we refund the month and reprovision with a clean IP. if it is caused by your own behavior, mass DMs, channel raids, scam content, we will not. read our AUP before signing up.

how do I appeal a Telegram ban?

email [email protected] with phone number, registration date, ban time, and a screenshot. response time is 1 to 7 days. full step-by-step recovery protocol.

do you guarantee my account will not get banned?

no. nobody can. we reduce ban risk substantially by removing the common technical triggers (bad IP, fake device, unstable login). we cannot prevent bans that come from your own usage choices.

my account was previously banned and reinstated. can I still host it with you?

yes, with one caveat. an account that has been through Telegram's recovery flag carries a permanently lower risk threshold. hosting reduces ongoing risk but cannot reset that flag. tell us upfront if your account has a ban history so we can set expectations.

billing, refunds, and currency

how do I pay?

Stripe for credit and debit cards. USDT on Ethereum or Tron for crypto (5 percent off the listed price). invoices issued in SGD or USD on request.

is there a setup fee?

no. provisioning is included.

is there an annual discount?

yes. annual prepay is 2 months free, equivalent to roughly 17 percent off. stacks with the crypto discount.

do you offer a free trial?

no free trial. we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the starter tier instead. if it does not work in 14 days, full refund.

what is the refund policy on annual prepay?

14 days full refund. after 14 days, prorated refund on the unused months with a 30 percent restocking fee.

can I cancel anytime?

yes. monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing cycle. you stay active until then. no early-termination penalty.

what counts as one account?

one Telegram account on one dedicated cloud phone with one dedicated SG mobile IP. starter is 1 unit, team is 3 units, agency starts at 10. see pricing.

infrastructure and IP details

is the IP really dedicated?

yes. one Singapore mobile IP per phone, one phone per customer. no shared pool, no rotation by default. when you cancel, the IP goes back to a quarantine pool for at least 90 days before reuse.

which Singapore carriers do you use?

SingTel, M1, StarHub, and Vivifi MVNO. we mix carriers across customers to avoid putting too many sessions on one ASN at once.

how often does my IP change?

it does not change unless the IP gets flagged in our hourly AbuseIPDB / proxycheck.io checks. typical IP retention is 6 to 12 months. on a migration, we move you to a fresh SIM within 24 hours and notify you.

are you running emulators or real phones?

real Samsung mid-range phones. not emulators. not cloud Android. not BlueStacks. emulators fail Telegram's device fingerprinting reliably. real hardware does not.

what is the uptime sla?

monthly target is 99.5 percent on starter and team, 99.9 percent on agency with sla credit. we publish a status page at status.telegramvault.org with 90-day history.

can I see what is happening on my phone?

yes. you have full live access via your browser. you can also see uptime, session health, and IP reputation in the dashboard.

what we will not do

we say no to a few things on principle. customers in those buckets will be happier with a different provider.
